Delivery information: The Holdsworth website has been designed to enable customers to buy directly. We genuinely hope you find the whole experience enjoyable and that purchasing our range of exquisite handmade chocolates is very satisfying. Please note, we never include any invoices or packing forms with your chocolate orders. If you would like to receive an invoice, please email us at with your order number and we will email you an invoice.

Please ensure that the correct delivery address is entered, as this address goes directly to our labelling system & is printed onto the labels. If you notice an error with your delivery address, please inform us straight away, so we can amend this before the chocolates are dispatched. Unfortunately if your order has been dispatched with the incorrect delivery address, you will be responsible for paying another delivery charge.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 (standard) parcels are usually delivered within 3 working days. At Holdsworth Chocolates we like to dispatch orders the same day of receipt whenever possible, however our chocolates are made to order. At times, it may not be possible to dispatch on the same day. Weekends & Bank Holidays can cause delays, so at these times please allow up to 2 days extra time. But please be assured that most orders are dispatched the same day. Please ensure you have entered your email address & phone number (mobile preferably) this will allow you to receive tracking notifications throughout your delivery & a photo proof of delivery.


Royal Mail Next Day Signed for delivery – Items will be posted for delivery by 1pm the next day (This option is valid Monday-Thursday). Customers need to be home to accept delivery. This also means parcels cannot be left in a secure location. This type of delivery benefits from SMS or Email notifications assuming details are provided when placing your order. Please ensure that you enter your email address & mobile phone number correctly. If a delivery is missed, a card may be posted through the letterbox which will enable customers to either rearrange a delivery or collect the parcel from the local Royal Mail depot. A photo ID may be requested to collect any parcels, so please ensure the delivery name is entered correctly. Once the chocolates leave us, we have very little control over the delivery process.

Please note, once we have posted the chocolates out from our factory, we have very little control over delivery times & dates. If you have any issues with deliveries, please contact Royal Mail directly.

Free Delivery – Free delivery will automatically be applied either with a valid coupon code that states free delivery or if you spend £40 or more.



During periods of extremely hot weather, we may delay sending your chocolates out. We will always contact you before delaying any orders, to ensure that the order is not urgent.

We may delay sending orders out during warm periods, so that your chocolates can arrive in perfect condition.

There is always the option of ‘risking’ sending any orders out in hot temperatures. However, if you choose this option, we do not accept returns, as we have given you the option to cancel, or wait.
