The Holdsworth website has been designed to enable customers to buy directly. We genuinely hope you find the whole experience enjoyable and that purchasing our range of exquisite handmade chocolates is very satisfying. But should any difficulties occur whilst using our website, please do contact us on Tel: 01629 813573 our offices are open Monday – Thursday 09.00 to 17.00 & Friday 09.00 – 12noon. If you prefer to email, our address is firstname.lastname@example.org all emails will be replied to within 10 days of receipt.
If you would like to include a gift note with your order, please enter this into the ‘Delivery Notes’ box at the checkout, a gift note will then be included with your order.
Please note, we never include any invoices or packing forms with your chocolate orders, if you would like to receive an invoice, please email us at email@example.com with your order number and we will email you an invoice.
Royal Mail guarantee first class parcel to be delivered in 3 working days. At Holdsworth we like to dispatch orders the same day of receipt whenever possible, however our chocolates are made to order, so at times, it may not be possible to dispatch on the same day. Weekends and Bank holidays can cause delays, so at these times please allow up to 2 days extra time. But please be assured that a majority of orders are dispatched the same day.
Royal Mail Next Day Signed for delivery. When selected this means these items will be posted for delivery by 1pm the next day (This option is valid Monday-Thursday). A signature will be necessary, this means parcels cannot be left in a secure location. This type of delivery benefits from SMS or Email notifications assuming details are provided when placing your order. If you miss your delivery, a missed delivery card will be posted through your letterbox which will enable you to collect the parcel from your local Royal Mail depot – Please note, although we work closely with Royal Mail to get your parcels to you, if a delivery is missed or no card is left, please contact Royal Mail directly, as once the chocolates leave us, we have very little control over the delivery process.
Selecting the Next Day Saturday Guaranteed option means goods will be delivered by Royal Mail. These items will be dispatched on the day of receipt. To guarantee next day delivery orders must arrive prior to 10.00am Friday. Next day delivery is only available at point of purchase via the options displayed in the checkout section. Once selected, details will be applied to the receipt identified as next working day Saturday guaranteed. This method benefits from the ability to track the parcel once it is dispatched. Please note that these deliveries WILL NOT be left in a secure locations – all parcels MUST be signed for. – Please note, although we work closely with Royal Mail to get your parcels to you, if a delivery is missed or no card is left, please contact Royal Mail directly, as once the chocolates leave us, we have very little control over the delivery process.

If product is damaged in the delivery process contact us as soon as possible.

In the event Holdsworth Chocolates agrees a return is appropriate, the cost of postage as well as the replace or refund will be processed after confirmation of receipt. Please be aware that any refunds will be made via the original form of payment.
Creating a new user account at www.holdsworthchocolates.co.uk requires basic details such as: Name, Address, Shipping details, email address and telephone number. Placing orders using the online shop will require an acceptable form of payment. A debit or credit card needs to be associated with the billing address. Holdsworth Chocolates do not hold or storage any card details. This information will be used to process orders and, if necessary, to contact you regarding the status of your orders. In order to develop our business, we do use some of the collected data including recipient details to send information from our company – we will never pass on details to second or third parties

An email will be sent showing you have created an account. This email will contain a discount code along with your automatically generated Password. Do check your ‘Junk‘ mail box if you have not seen the email within a few minutes.
This email also includes a link, please click this and complete the set up process ready to place an order.
Using this link from the email will take you back to the original page as shown above i.e. Login and Register. Before you click this link copy the password ready to paste in on your return the setup page. Once back on the My account page use the Login section and enter your email and your automatically generated Password.
This will now show Billing Address and Shipping Address please ensure details are correct, if not update using the Edit buttons. These Edit points are located just before Shipping Address for Billing and to the far right for Shipping. Add in address details and press Save Address at the bottom off the screen.
Having completed the account set up you can now place an order and use your discount code in the checkout. In the checkout screen under the product images to the left of your screen you will see box with Coupon code inside, paste or type in your code and click the Apply Coupon button. This will update total with a reduction of 15%, from here to complete your purchase click Proceed to Checkout and follow the payment instructions. – Don’t worry, if you forget to use your discount code on your first order, the code will stay valid until you choose to use it!

We are obliged by the Distance Selling Directive, the Data Protection legislation, and all current Trade and Legal precedents and policies to respect your wishes. As a result we will not divulge your information to any third parties.

Because not everyone likes to receive offers and promotions you can opt out. If you receive a promotional email from Holdsworth Chocolates you can always click the unsubscribe link if you do not want to be contacted again – this is usually found at the bottom of the emails you receive from us.

Hot or Extreme Weather
During times of extreme weather, for example, usually hot or cold, deliveries can be affected. Because Holdsworth chocolates likes nothing more than to supply fresh products in great condition directly to your home, we occasionally find it necessary to hold deliveries back. This only occurs in exceptional circumstances and in each case all customers will be contacted regarding the details.
